Ladenford Den – the Girlguiding Angus County campsite
Ladenford Den offers a great opportunity to experience the outdoors in a beautiful setting within Angus.
There is an extensive wood to roam in with a burn through part of it and a wonderful campfire circle.
You may choose to sleep under canvas on the campsite or indoors in the Hut.
General Information
Camping area
The camping area is divided into two campsites which can be used individually or as a whole.
If required, a wide selection of tents is available to hire, as well as all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils.
There are 2 wet weather shelters on the campsite which are suitable for central cooking or group activities.
There is also an outdoor sink with hot and cold water outside the hut.
The Hut – Residentials
The Hut sleeps 24 in the main hall, with additional beds for 4 in the leaders’ room.
A large well equipped kitchen provides:
- a dishwasher
- two cookers
- two fridges
- freezer
- ample storage space for food
There is cutlery and crockery for 30 and an array of kitchen equipment.
The Hut is suitable for anyone with a physical disability.
The Hut – Meetings
The Hut is available to hire for meetings:
- Morning (10am to 1pm)
- Afternoon (2pm to 5pm)
- Evening (6pm to 9pm)
or a combination of these sessions.
